FINDING A PROPERTY IN VICTORIA

COST ANALYSIS

You will often here people speaking about "building costs per square foot". Without qualification as to what is included, these figures can be misleading. For instance, do these quoted costs include garage square footage, landscaping, retaining walls or HST?

We start out by asking the straight forward question.. what is your budget? As a designer, Chris is then able to tailor preliminary house designs to ensure a financially feasible project from the outset.

As the design later unfolds, budgets are established for items that our customers will shop for such as plumbing and lighting fixtures, kitchen cabinetry and tile. We provide a shopping list for these items categorized for rooms and locations. For those customers wanting the assistance of a interior design professional, we are able to offer services in this regard as well.

DESIGN

We design in 3D. The home design field has changed dramatically over the years and Christopher Developments has stayed on the forefront of technology. 

We offer a complete design service to bring your dream home to reality. Unlike most builders that rely on a designer to provide all construction details, we provide inspiration and three dimensional drawings of everything from kitchen cabinetry to that custom staircase found no where else.

BUILD

Christopher Developments charges a fixed fee for building custom homes. Our fee is based upon a percentage of budgeted construction costs and is guaranteed once the scope of the project is known.

All labour and materials are billed at cost. Twice a month we prepare a detailed statement outlining payables and budget updates for your approval. This detailed and transparent project management process ensures that customers are kept informed, involved and satisfied from start to completion.

The homes we build come with a comprehensive 10 year warranty from National Home Warranty Program.
